Freelance Motion Signage Series
January 2026- | Several Dispensaries Across Detroit
This work has been created as an additional opportunity from my former manager at Simply Loud. He offered me the chance to design for several of his new dispensaries as they were being closed and reopened under his new management. It was then my job to create a visual language and series of motion graphics that relate to the previous visual language ,but also elevate it and reimagine it as a new and unique place to shop.

In-Store Motion SignageAbout the Brands & Backgrounds
As was the case for the majority of my design projects, I was given a logo and no other visual elements. But, I decided to give both of these logos a refresh, since the given assets were grainy and non-transparent, so kinda difficult to make a nice graphic out of them. Luv already had a strong visual language onto which I could base my signage, and a nice color scheme that I knew my manager liked. As for Stoney Leaf, they were looking for more of an overall brand refresh, so I decided to use the building’s unique green brick painting and architecture as a foundation for my logo and design of the motion signage. The House of Mary Jane already had two logos to work with, and they were high-quality enough that I didn’t feel the need to update them.
